Square became a publicly traded company on November 18, 2015 and began trading on the NYSE on November 19, 2015. Square sold shares to the public at a price of $9 per share in its initial public offering.
You can buy shares of Square stock through any licensed brokerage firm. We don’t have a direct stock purchase plan for non-employees.
We currently intend to retain all available funds and any future earnings for use in the operation of our business and do not expect to pay any surplus on our capital stock in the foreseeable future.
Square was incorporated in June 2009 in Delaware.
